Job summary

EY MENA is seeking a Manager for Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT) to lead technology-enabled tax transformation initiatives across Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, and related areas. The role focuses on delivering data-driven solutions, collaborating with Tax, Finance and Tech stakeholders to improve compliance, reporting and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include leading requirements, building data solutions with SQL/Alteryx/Tableau, and guiding testing, deployment, and governance

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of experience in tax technology, tax transformation, or related fields.
• Strong SQL capability and analytics/visualization tool experience (Alteryx, Tableau).
• Experience supporting SDLC activities including requirements, testing, defect management and release readiness.
• Understanding of Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax and compliance reporting processes.

Manager – Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT)

The opportunity

Join EY MENA’s Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT) team as a Manager. This client-facing role focuses on delivering technology-enabled tax transformation solutions across Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, Accounting Compliance & Reporting, eInvoicing and AI-enabled use cases. You will work closely with Tax, Finance and Technology stakeholders to design, build, test and deploy solutions that improve compliance, reporting and operational efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, solution development, analytics and reporting delivery. Build and validate data solutions using SQL, Alteryx and Tableau; support eInvoicing and VAT reporting initiatives; coordinate testing, deployment and governance activities; and coach junior team members while ensuring high-quality client-ready deliverables.

To qualify for the role

• Typically 10+ years of experience in tax technology, tax transformation, compliance/reporting transformation, data & analytics, or management consulting.


• Strong SQL capability and experience with analytics/visualization tools, preferably Alteryx and Tableau.


• Experience supporting SDLC activities including requirements, testing, defect management and release readiness.


• Understanding of Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax and compliance reporting processes.


• Strong stakeholder management, documentation and delivery execution skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience supporting eInvoicing and digital VAT reporting programs.


• Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled delivery initiatives.


• Relevant tax, accounting, analytics or agile credentials.
