Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres, rating it against detailed quality standards in Tamil and English.

Start date is immediate for up to 6 months with flexible weekly hours (about 20 hours). Compensation is hourly, with potential move to per-task while keeping an equivalent effective rate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Proficient in evaluating AI-generated music with high musicality and production quality.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English and Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and mix.
• Label songs by genre, structure, and instruments.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality.
