Job summary

Client of Reap HR in the United Arab Emirates seeks a male tailor with extensive female clothing tailoring experience based in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. The role requires handling fabric, measuring accurately, and producing finished garments to spec.

The position includes long hours (12 per day), six days a week, with benefits such as accommodation, transport, medical insurance, and an annual air ticket. A practical machine test is part of the interview process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tailor or sewing specialist; gender-specific tailoring experience.
• Ability to cut stitch, alter and finish garments or textile products.
• Knowledge of fabrics and stitching techniques; accurate measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and stitch fabric according to required bed sheet sizes and designs (female clothes).
• Operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sew hems, borders, elastic, corners and finishing details.
