Job summary

A leading aviation company in Dubai is seeking a qualified Pilot Trainer to deliver comprehensive flight training and assess trainee performance. The ideal candidate will hold a CPL with a Frozen ATPL or ATPL and have extensive experience in multi-pilot operations. Responsibilities include providing training, evaluating trainee progress, and ensuring adherence to flight training standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years commercial aviation experience in Multi Pilot Operations.
• A valid A330/A350 type rating is an advantage.

Job Description

• Provide training to pilots on courses listed in the Airbus Pilot Catalog using training tools for safe, efficient, and effective operation, applying Airbus Flight Training Standards, Training Policy, and Airworthiness Authority regulations.
• Deliver Airbus flight training courses per Airbus FCTP and training media.
• Assess trainee progress and decide on additional training if required.
• Provide written report and grading of trainee performance at the end of each session.
• Candidate based in Dubai UAE, reports to the Head of Training (Airbus Africa & Middle East) and may travel within region or other Training Centres.

Requirements

• Hold or have held a CPL with Frozen ATPL or ATPL (with A320 Rating), preferably EASA authority.
• A valid A330/A350 type rating is an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Hold or have held an SFI and/or SFE Authorization from the same authority as the ATPL.
• Completed Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as Pilot.
• Minimum 3,000 hours as Pilot and 1,500 hours on Multi Pilot Aircraft (MPA).
• Minimum 3 years commercial aviation experience on FAR 25/CS 25 or FAR 23/CS 23 aircraft in Multi Pilot Operation (MPO), preferably on Airbus aircraft.
• Ability to teach brief and debrief in fluent English.
