Job summary

AESG seeks a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Building Services to deliver safe, durable, and high‑performing designs for projects in the UAE. You will work on HVAC, chilled water, ventilation and smoke management systems while prioritizing sustainability and energy efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, membership in a recognized professional body (CIBSE/ASHRAE/IMechE or equivalent), at least 3 years of UAE/GCC experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, HAP,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years experience in Mechanical Building Services Design
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC codes and regulations
• Proficiency in design software: Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, IES VE, Hevacomp

Responsibilities

• Undertake mechanical engineering calculations and system design for all project stages from concept through detailed design
• Develop designs for HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ventilation systems and smoke management systems
• Produce technical reports, calculations and engineering studies
• Support equipment selection and system sizing
• Develop energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions
• Ensure designs comply with project briefs and client requirements
• Attend client, design and coordination meetings and participate in workshops
