Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-end Japanese restaurants, luxury hotels, resorts, or private clubs.
• Strong expertise in sushi preparation, Japanese cuisine, seafood handling and knife techniques.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing culinary teams.
• HACCP knowledge and commitment to food safety excellence.

• Lead the daily operation of the Sushi Kitchen and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.

Discovery Dunes Golf Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Sushi Chef to join our Culinary team and help shape one of Dubai's most exclusive dining destinations. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented culinary professional with a deep understanding of Japanese cuisine, exceptional knife skills, and a passion for delivering world-class food and hospitality experiences.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Culinary, you will lead the Sushi Kitchen, overseeing daily operations, menu development, food quality, team performance, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in creating innovative sushi offerings while maintaining the highest standards of consistency, presentation, food safety, and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operation of the Sushi Kitchen and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
• Develop and execute innovative sushi and Japanese-inspired menu offerings.
