Job summary

AMMROC is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee the day-to-day Maintenance Operations at the base, ensuring maintenance processes are followed, schedules are executed on time, and aircraft remain mission-ready. The role interfaces with AMMROC Headquarters and MRO facilities to optimize planning, safety, and efficiency across operations.

You will lead a team to implement maintenance targets, monitor consumption, and drive continuous improvement in availability and reliability of aircraft

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the platform Maintenance Operations section to ensure processes are implemented as designed.
• Under Head of Ops Support, manage maintenance planning implementation at the assigned base for efficient, cost-effective repairs.
• Support development of optimum maintenance targets covering efficiencies and availability at the base.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure on-time, scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance planning activities at the base and interface with AMMROC Headquarters and MRO facilities.
• Align maintenance operations, scheduling, base capability, communication and workload planning.
• Ensure smooth functioning of base activities and avoid delays and maintenance failures.
• Manage resolution of operational day-to-day maintenance problems for high-quality service.
• Ensure maintenance activities are compliant, safe, and high-quality at the base.
• Maintain continuous availability of military aircraft maintenance services to keep aircraft ready to fly.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to keep aircraft in optimum working order and minimize breakdowns.
• Monitor materials, spares and consumables usage against budgeted assumptions.
• Contribute to ongoing review of physical condition of base assets to meet strategic objectives and legislation.
• Achieve objectives by setting goals, managing performance, developing staff and giving feedback.
• Assist Supply Chain in negotiations with contractors with clear statements of work.
• Maintain relationships with third-party providers to meet targets without adding overhead.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies across Maintenance Operations.
• Sponsor change initiatives reflecting international best practices and competitive changes.
• Ensure direct reports adhere to safety, quality and environmental controls.
• Execute day-to-day operations for the section to meet standards and policies.

Overview

• 1 Supervises the day-to-day operations of the platform Maintenance Operations section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies processes and procedures 2 Under the direction of the Head of Ops Support manages the implementation of the maintenance planning at the assigned base to ensure that repair and maintenance services are accomplished efficiently in the most productive and cost effective manner 3 Supports the Head of Ops Support with the development of optimum maintenance planning targets covering maintenance efficiencies and availability at the base ensuring reliability and performance improvement to improve the maintenance effectiveness and speed of service4 Contributes to the development of maintenance schedules and implements them as part of operation and maintenance planning to execute on time and scheduled maintenance in order to ensure that aircrafts are working to their optimum efficiency and capability 5 Supports the Head of Ops Support in the coordination of maintenance planning activities at the base and interface with AMMROC Headquarters and MRO facilities to align maintenance operations maintenance scheduling short and long term base capability communication and workload planning and management to ensure smooth functioning of the base s activities and avoiding possible delays and maintenance failures 6 Manages the resolution of the operational day-to-day maintenance problems to ensure a highly efficient effective and quality service is extended to customers aircrafts at the base 7 Ensures that all aircraft maintenance activities take place in an efficient compliant and safe manner to assure a high quality of maintenance operations at the base 8 Ensures that military aircraft maintenance services are continuously available to customers so that aircrafts are operational and ready to fly when required and at a level that meets the required standards 9 Develops preventative maintenance schedules to cover all relevant aircraft maintenance so that it is maintained in optimum working order and breakdowns are minimized 10 Monitors the usage of materials spares and consumables to ensure that consumption is consistent with budgeted assumptions 11 Contributes towards the on-going review of the physical condition of the base operational assets to ensure that those assets are in a suitable condition to allow AMMROC to fulfil its strategic objectives and comply with any relevant legislation 12 Manages the achievement of objectives by setting individual goals and objectives managing performance developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximizes overall performance and engagement 13 Assists the Supply Chain function in the negotiations with contractors providing a clear statement of work and understanding14 Maintains relationships with third-party providers through the Supply Chain function of operational and maintenance personnel so that AMMROC is able to fulfill its operational service safety environmental and cost targets without unnecessary addition to the company are fixed overhead15 Ensures compliance to all relevant safety quality and environmental management policies procedures and controls across the Maintenance Operations at the Facility to guarantee employee safety legislative compliance delivery of high quality aircraft maintenance service and a responsible environmental attitude16 Sponsors opportunities to take part in change initiatives programs and projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment 17 Ensures direct reports adhere to and support all relevant safety quality and environmental management policies procedures and controls promoting employee safety legislative compliance and promotes a responsible environmental attitude 18 Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures 19 Prepares statements and reports timely and accurately to meet AMMROC and departmental requirements policies and standards 20 Prepares function statements and reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the requirements of AMMROC and department policies and standards 21 Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
