Zusammenfassung

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company is seeking a senior instrumentation supervisor to oversee installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of field instruments and control systems in UAE projects. You will coordinate transmitter and valve installations, cabling, and termination works while ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.

Minimum 5–8 years in instrumentation for oil & gas, with read-through capability for P&IDs, loop diagrams, and related documents.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or technical qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of instrumentation experience with supervisory exposure in oil & gas projects.
• Ability to read P&IDs, instrument hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and related documents.
• Familiarity with field instruments, control valves, DCS, PLC, ESD and FG systems.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, and oil & gas HSE standards.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily instrumentation activities including installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments and control systems.
• Coordinate installation of transmitters, control valves, gauges, switches, and related instrumentation equipment.
• Oversee tubing, impulse lines, air lines, cabling, glanding, termination, and junction box installation.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and instrument drawings, and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor manpower, tools, materials and equipment to meet schedules and milestones.
• Guide technicians to ensure productivity, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.

Supervise daily instrumentation activities including installation calibration testing and commissioning of field instruments and control systems Coordinate the installation of pressure temperature flow and level transmitters control valves gauges switches and other instrumentation equipment Supervise instrument tubing impulse lines instrument air lines cable laying glanding termination and junction box installation Read and interpret P amp IDs instrument hook-up drawings loop diagrams cable schedules termination drawings and instrument index documents Coordinate with electrical piping mechanical construction and commissioning teams to ensure smooth execution of project activities Ensure all instrumentation work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements project specifications applicable codes and quality requirements Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA QC personnel for inspection requests testing and resolution of site quality issues Monitor manpower tools materials and equipment to achieve planned work schedules and project milestones Supervise instrument calibration loop checking functional testing and troubleshooting activities during pre-commissioning and commissioning Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures permit-to-work systems toolbox talks and safe working practices Identify technical issues report progress to the construction team and coordinate corrective actions to minimize delays and rework Maintain daily progress reports inspection records calibration certificates test reports and other relevant project documentation Guide instrumentation technicians and subcontractors to ensure productivity workmanship and compliance with project requirements
