Overview
JOB PURPOSE: Oversee and manage field operations related to fracturing (FRAC) services, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of hydraulic fracturing operations. Supervise field teams, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the proper use and maintenance of FRAC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate fracturing operations at wellsites, ensuring the effective and safe execution of hydraulic fracturing services.
- Lead and manage a team of field operators and technicians, providing guidance and support on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of frac equipment.
- Ensure the setup, calibration, and commissioning of frac equipment prior to use, verifying that it meets operational requirements and safety standards.
- Monitor fracturing operations, including pump rates, pressures, and fluid volumes, making real-time adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and achieve operational objectives.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on frac equipment, identifying and addressing any issues or potential failures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Implement and enforce ADNOC Drilling’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring safe handling of equipment and materials, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments, including engineering, logistics, and fluids teams, to ensure timely availability of frac equipment, materials, and support for ongoing operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of fracturing operations, equipment performance, maintenance activities, and operational incidents, providing reports to management as required.
- Provide training and mentorship to field personnel on frac equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of fracturing operations.
- Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills: 5-7 years of experience in fracturing operations and equipment maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
- Able to understand, speak, read and write English fluently.
- Strong people management skills.
