Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES is seeking a seasoned professional to supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities at our Abu Dhabi project site. You will lead technicians, operators, and subcontractors to achieve safe execution, readiness, and on-schedule completion.

The role requires an engineering degree or diploma in Chemical/Process fields and a minimum of 8 years in Oil & Gas, with practical field experience in plant start-up and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead technicians, operators, and subcontractors on daily commissioning activities.
• Prepare work fronts, dossiers, procedures, tools, PPE, permits, and toolbox talks before work.
• Oversee chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, air/steam blowing, inerting, and plant start-up.
• Ensure LOTO, access control, barricading, and SIMOPS are in place.
• Guide operators during start-up and monitor process variables to maintain stability.
• Support DCS with alarms, trips, logic, interlocks, and overrides.
• Interpret P&IDs and process diagrams; ensure records are accurate.

Supervise processpre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities at project site,ensuring safe execution, operational readiness and completion in accordancewith the approved schedule and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technicians, operators and subcontractors carrying out dailyprocess commissioning activities.
• Prepare work fronts, testing dossiers, drawings, procedures, tools,PPE, permits and toolbox talks before starting work.
• Supervise chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, air orsteam blowing, inerting, package start-up and plant stabilization.
• Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO, accesscontrol, barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented.
• Guide operators during plant start-up and monitor flow, level,temperature and pressure to maintain stable operating conditions.
• Support DCS activities involving alarms, trips, logic, interlocks,permissives and overrides.
• Interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams and control narratives andensure commissioning records are accurate and complete.
• Monitor manpower, progress, tools and spare-part usage and reportconstraints or required recovery actions.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, HSE, vendors andother disciplines to resolve site issues.
