Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Superintendent Commissioning Telecom with onshore site experience for MEGA EPC projects based in Abu Dhabi.

The role requires leading sales gas and condensate commissioning activities, coordinating with EPC contractors, and ensuring readiness for MC and RFSU certificates. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, bring 20+ years in commissioning/operation readiness, and have at least 5 years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with preference for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with GCC region as preference.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference for sour gas, hydrogen production, hydro-desulfurization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales gas & Condensate Commissioning and guide the commissioning team, EPC contractors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure commissioning activities follow approved procedures.
• Oversee progress of commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate areas and review related manuals.
• Verify MC and RFSU readiness and ensure closeout of punch lists in his area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with contractual documents.

KBR is looking for a Superintendent Commissioning Telecom with Onshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Having a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference.
• Must have at least (5 ) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas ,Hydrogen production, Hydro- desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Sales gas & Condensate Commissioning Lead shall provide guidance to his commissioning Team, EPC contractor, Sub-Contractors within his area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.
• Responsible for the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and Condensate area.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning Procedures.
• Provide the required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager a.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
