About the job Study Manager

Position: Study Manager

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Study Coordinator to oversee and manage the options selection, process finalization, and final study report for a hydrogeological and geotechnical study. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with a survey contractor for the study and a Regulatory Authority consultant for all necessary governmental and statutory approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the options selection process and finalize the study approach
  • Manage and coordinate with the survey contractor for hydrogeological and geotechnical studies
  • Liaise with the Regulatory Authority consultant to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained
  • Conduct risk analysis of key project drivers and develop effective risk mitigation strategies
  • Provide input to produce a +/-10 Cost Estimate to support investment decisions after completion of the study
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of the study
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring all deliverables are met within the specified timeline
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project team members, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in coordinating and managing hydrogeological and geotechnical studies
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to hydrogeological and geotechnical studies
  • Experience in risk analysis and developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
