Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards, adapting to diverse learning styles and individual student needs, including ESL and gifted students.
• Maintain accurate records of planning, assessments, and attendance, ensuring policies and codes of conduct are consistently followed.
• Use media and technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
• Foster student progress and well‑being through academic guidance, behaviour management, and promoting cultural awareness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching resources and contribute to the school’s co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes.
• Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of student progress, upholding confidentiality where required.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and extra duties as needed, demonstrating commitment beyond the standard workday.
• Participate in appraisal and Performance Management procedures and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Skills

Successful candidates will need to:

• Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent in relevant specialism in Elementary/Inclusion.
• Have proven experience of teaching Elementary, ideally within an IB or American Curriculum School, however this is not mandatory.
• Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents.
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching.
• Availability from August 2025
