Job summary

Abu Dhabi Healthcare Company (SEHA) seeks an education and student support professional to guide students, provide counselling on behavioural and learning needs, and coordinate with teachers at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for ongoing student progress and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or counselling and 4–6 years of relevant experience in educational settings, with a focus on compliance and parental engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counselling, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience working with children and teenagers in schools or educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide students in completion of homework and academic assignments
• Support students in understanding curriculum requirements and study methods
• Develop structured study plans for students requiring additional support
• Monitor academic progress and recommend interventions when required
• Provide age‑appropriate counselling to children and teenagers
• Address behavioral, emotional, or learning concerns
• Support development of discipline, responsibility, and self‑management skills
• Refer complex cases to senior leadership or external specialists when needed
• Coordinate with teachers on student academic and behavioural issues
• Participate in parent meetings and provide feedback on student progress
• Maintain structured reports and documentation
• Participate in academic planning and improvement programs
• Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information
