Job summary

A company focused on innovative transportation solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer to conduct site visits and perform structural analysis. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures, and have completed relevant courses in Concrete, Steel, or Masonry Design. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports and drafting structural elements in Revit. This full-time position requires on-site presence in Dubai.

Job description

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and perform structural observations
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports
• Draft and model structural elements in Revit
• Perform structural analysis and modeling using SAP2000
• Conduct structural design and calculations using Tekla Tedds

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in structures)
• Completed courses in: Concrete, Steel, or Masonry Design

Additional Requirements

• Full time in person position; non-remote or hybrid
