Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, entrepreneurial mindset and good interpersonal/communication skills.

We are looking to hire an Intern who will bring skill, creativity, and dedication to the table. You will work at our office in Dubai and report to the Business Development Head. You will have the opportunity to gain an enriching experience through this internship.

What are the job responsibilities?

• Support in the implementation of business strategies, guidelines, and principles.
• Support strategic planning and evaluates strategic options of relevant unit. Makes recommendations for further strategic development.
• Prepare, blend and analyse data from various system like SAP and SFDC using the data science software Alteryx and build workflows to automate various processes.
• Visualise prepared data via Tableau by building dashboards, you will also take care of access right management for the Tableau server.
• Coordinating Business development community in lead country by organising regular meetings, facilitation of information sharing, development of common tools and methods.
• Gathering of information, consolidating, and sharing them amongst assigned countries and divisions with respect to competitive intelligence based on own research and participation in external events, use of external data sources like MEED and BMI.
• Planning (scheduling, agenda, participants) and preparation or review of content for management meetings on lead country and UAE level.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

• You must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program (Engineering: Mechanical/Energy/Renewables).
• Experience or willing to onboard and work with Alteryx as well as visualising data using Tableau and/or Tableau Prep.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
