Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a Planning Manager to direct strategic merchandise financial plans, drive sales and margin via forecasting and inventory strategies, and lead cross-channel inventory alignment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a retail planning role.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience (2-4 years preferred).
• Proficiency with merchandise planning systems, forecasting, and Excel analysis.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, execution, and communication of strategic merchandise financial plans.
• Partner with Buying & Operations teams to drive sales and margin via forecasting, assortment, and inventory strategies.
• Manage six-month Seasonal Merchandise Plans in partnership with Buying and Sales Operations.
• Guide Planners in development, presentation, and defense of seasonal merchandise plans.
• Review and approve buy and reorder quantities to optimize assortment for sales and margin.
