Job summary

ADNOC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced governance professional to shape and supervise the company’s project portfolio governance framework. You will contribute to risk management, assurance, prioritisation, and benefits realisation across capital programs.

You will design evaluation criteria for third-party agencies, cascade GVAP requirements, and act as the authority for QA/QC standards. Strong communication and stakeholder influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 9 years in project management, risk and governance in a large organization, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Experience in project assurance management and governance of a portfolio of projects within a fast-track environment.
• Knowledge of project assurance reviews, audits, quality management systems and asset integrity.
• Knowledge of project management systems, tools and processes and PMO usage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Governance of the project portfolio risk management, assurance, prioritisation and optimisation.
• Design and develop framework conditions for third party inspection agencies and evaluation criteria.
• Support GVAP development and IPMS themes, standards and guidelines.
• Act as focal point for GVAP and cascade requirements across the project group.
• Act as Company Technical Authority for QA/QC standards and approve design concession requests.
• Develop internal stakeholder engagement plans (RACI) for project governance and alignment.
• Identify project assurance risks and implement risk-based quality management across projects.
• Conduct governance audits and recommend improvements to maximise project quality management.
• Support capital project management and VAP governance issues and acceleration strategies.
• Ensure alignment of governance processes with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
