Job summary

Dubai Women Establishment seeks a communications professional to implement the organization’s strategy and plans for advertising and promotion. You will craft all English content including press releases, speeches, quotes, interviews and features and distribute them to local and regional media.

You will maintain media relations, monitor media coverage, and unify English marketing language across the organization while updating local, regional and international media lists.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to draft English content for PR and corporate communications.
• Experience in media relations and press release distribution.

Responsibilities

• Implement the communication strategy and plans for the organization.
• Draft English content: press releases, speeches, quotes, interviews and features for DWE.
• Distribute press releases to local and regional media.
• Maintain media relations and invite media to DWE events.
• Media monitoring and share coverage with stakeholders.
• Unify all English marketing and promotional language for the organization.
• Maintain/update local, regional and international media lists.
• Archive and manage the communications department files and guidelines.
• Establish relationships with media to ensure event coverage.
• Prepare comprehensive media lists/PR plans per project and follow up for interviews.
• Draft, edit and coordinate editorials.
• Create web and social media content aligned with each entity’s style and direction.
• Coordinate with media agencies to ensure SLAs are met.

Education

BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
