Job summary

ENGIE IMEA in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Relationship Manager to coordinate with government authorities and agencies, ensuring timely administrative steps and permits. You will engage with municipalities and authorities to facilitate major Abu Dhabi projects and maintain alignment with project teams across BD, construction, and legal.

The role requires 5+ years in government-relations roles, strong English/Arabic communication, and expertise in UAE processes.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, legal or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as a Relationship Manager or in a similar role with Abu Dhabi governmental entities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• Proficiency with UAE government processes and familiarity with CICPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities to facilitate permitting and planning.
• Plan and lead meetings with municipalities, local authorities, and agencies.
• Coordinate between Engie project teams and government authorities and agencies.
• Plan and manage government relations activities, including licenses and permits.
