Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Financial Controller in the United Arab Emirates for a diversified holding company. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management, and strong internal controls to support strategic decisions across multiple units.

The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and drive governance and efficiency while leading a skilled finance team in Dubai and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in diversified groups, holding companies, or multi-entity environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and internal policies.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Support business units with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
