Job summary

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) invites applications for an Employability, Alumni and Industry Partnership Manager to strengthen connections between the university, industry partners, alumni network and students to enhance employability outcomes.

You will design and manage programs, cultivate partnerships for internships and mentoring, and lead a team to deliver data-driven initiatives that connect students with real-world opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, HR, Education or related field.
• Experience building relationships with employers, alumni and industry stakeholders.
• Experience in a higher education environment or similar sector.
• Preferably bilingual with fluency in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage comprehensive employability programs aligned with industry needs and student career aspirations.
• Develop strategies to enhance students' employability skills and networking opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni for mentoring, networking and career advancement.
• Organize alumni events, workshops and initiatives to strengthen community among alumni and students.
• Identify and establish partnerships with local, national and international industries to provide internships and job opportunities.
• Collaborate with industry partners to develop experiential learning opportunities (internships, co-ops, projects).
• Oversee student internship programs, including sourcing opportunities and monitoring progress.
• Provide guidance to students throughout internships ensuring alignment with academic and career goals.
• Integrate employability initiatives into curriculum with departments and faculty.
