Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a related diploma is advantageous.
• Experience as Storekeeper or similar preferred.
• Experience in freight/logistics/warehouse operations an advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory control and stock procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/inventory systems.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Physically fit with safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming goods against documents.
• Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Issue materials to approved staff per requests.
• Prepare goods for dispatch or internal transfer.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
• Investigate stock shortages or overages.
• Update stock using Excel or ERP systems.
• Maintain records of goods received, issued, and transfers.
• Ensure fast-moving items are accessible.
• Monitor stock levels and alert when replenishment is needed.
• Label and organize stored materials properly.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, finance, drivers, and warehouse staff.
• Keep store area clean, safe and organized.
• Follow company procedures for material handling and inventory control.
• Handle sensitive or valuable materials properly.
• Assist with inventory reports and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of records.
