Role

Responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished products within the factory’s warehouse or storeroom.
Ensures that stock levels are accurate, materials are stored safely, and all inventory movements are recorded correctly to support smooth production and distribution operations.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials
  • Verify quantities, quality, and documentation (delivery notes, purchase orders).
    Reject or report damaged/incorrect supplies to procurement or supervisor.
  • Store goods in designated locations following proper storage systems (e.g., FIFO/FEFO—First In, First Out / First Expiry, First Out) to prevent spoilage or quality issues.
  • Ensure storage conditions (temperature, cleanliness) meet food safety and hygiene standards, particularly for dairy products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using spreadsheets or ERP / inventory software.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or excesses to supervisors to trigger purchase requests.
  • Issue raw materials and packaging to production teams on request, ensuring correct quantities and documentation.
    Assist with preparing finished goods for dispatch or distribution when required.
  • Keep storage areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Follow food safety (HACCP) guidelines and UAE regulatory requirements for dairy handling and storage.
  • Support internal and external audit activities when necessary.
  • Work with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available on time.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or expired stock promptly.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is an advantage)
  • 1-3 years in inventory, storekeeping, or warehouse operations — food manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Inventory management and record-keeping skills.
  • (Excel or inventory/ERP SAP systems).
  • Good organization, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
