Role Overview
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to‑day management of all store operations at one of our Abu Dhabi locations. Working onsite as part of our Retail Stores team, you will report directly to the Retail Director and lead the store from open to close. You will lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service, drive operational excellence, and develop a high‑performing team. Your role will focus on people leadership, sales performance, stock and cost control, visual standards, and ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures to ensure seamless functioning of the store.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and optimal stock levels at all times.
- Manage inventory processes such as ordering, receiving, and stocking products efficiently.
- Implement and uphold all store policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, actively resolving inquiries and complaints.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store employees to foster a high‑performance culture.
- Conduct staff evaluations, provide meaningful feedback, and motivate team members.
- Drive sales with effective merchandising and promotional initiatives, using data and trends to steer business decisions.
- Manage store budgets, handle cash management, and perform regular financial reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure targets are met.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, and animal welfare regulations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records for animal care and welfare, ensuring all standards are met.
Must Have Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within retail (pet‑related industry experience is highly advantageous).
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or relevant field is preferred.
- Extensive retail experience with a proven track record of operational management and sales growth.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
- Exceptional organizational, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Operational excellence, business acumen, and a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by store needs.
- Proficiency in point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer applications.
- Effective ownership mentality, able to take initiative and drive solutions.
