Job summary

Hilton in Dubai is seeking a proactive Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily back-of-house operations and uphold the highest hospitality standards. You will lead a stewarding team, manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure cost controls align with budgets while maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes HACCP, health and safety, and collaboration with Finance and Events teams to deliver flawless guest experiences in a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding operations: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen support areas.
• Lead stewarding team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee inventory and ordering: Monitor stock levels of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies, and place orders to meet business needs for events and daily operations.
• Control stock and costs: Perform regular stock takes, identify loss patterns, and enforce measures to minimize waste while maintaining par levels.
• Oversee purchasing and invoicing: Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality products within budget.
• Support cross-department collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Events, and other teams to support seamless operations and maintain strong working relationships.
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
• Participate in inspections: In Dubai municipality food safety and health & safety inspections.
• HACCP: Ensure certification, re-certification and surveillance audits.
• Food Safety Spot Check: Able to conduct daily routine food safety, health and safety, sustainability and QA related inspections and spot checks.
