Job summary

AQUARIUS WORLD WIDE FZE in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Steel Fixer to understand construction drawings and install reinforcement bars for foundations, columns, beams and slabs.

The ideal candidate has experience with tying bars, working outdoors in a physically demanding environment, and is available for full-time work; GCC or GCC returners are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• GCC Returners preferred
• GCC work experience is preferred
• Candidates should be medically fit for construction work

Responsibilities

• understand construction drawings and steel reinforcement plans
• Cut bend and fix reinforcement steel bars according to specifications
• Install and secure reinforcement bars for foundations, columns, beams and slabs and other concrete structures
• Tie reinforcement bars using binding wire and appropriate tools
• Ensure reinforcement work is completed according to project specifications and safety standards
• Maintain proper spacing, alignment and positioning of steel reinforcement
• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors and other construction workers
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures
• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.
• GCC work experience is preferred.

• Good knowledge of steel reinforcement work and construction practices.
