Job summary

Smart Tech Technical Services in Dubai is seeking a skilled steel fixer to interpret blueprints, cut and shape steel reinforcements, and install them to strict structural specifications. You will work on concrete frames and collaborate with engineers on reinforcement requirements for quality outcomes.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of hands-on steel fixing experience, a high school diploma, and safety certifications (OSHA or equivalent) are highly advantageous. This role is based in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience in steel fixing or related construction field.
• OSHA or equivalent safety certifications highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze blueprints to position and assemble steel reinforcements.
• Cut, bend and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power tools, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Secure steel reinforcements in place using wire clamps and other fastening devices to support structural integrity.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to provide input on reinforcement requirements and modifications.
