Technos Multiline LLC in Dubai, UAE is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join our busy workshop. You will read drawings, cut, bend, weld, and assemble metal components, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with steel and sheet metal, familiarity with CNC laser cutting and press brake bending, and a commitment to quality. This is a full-time, on-site role in Al Quoz / DIP area.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on metal or sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
• Experience using fabrication tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Welding experience is an advantage (TIG/MIG).
• Familiarity with CNC laser cutting and press brake bending processes.
• Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and safety.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Perform metal fabrication work according to engineering drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Carry out measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, grinding, deburring, and fitting operations.
• Assist with sheet metal bending, fabrication, assembly, and finishing.
• Work with steel, stainless steel, and other metal materials as required.
• Perform welding, including TIG or MIG welding, where applicable.
• Prepare and finish fabricated components to meet required quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely.
• Check dimensions, alignment, fitment, and finished product quality.
• Coordinate with laser cutting operators, bending machine operators, and production supervisors.
• Minimize material wastage and maintain proper material handling practices.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Metal Fabrication Technician

• Perform metal fabrication work as indicated in technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
• Carry out fitting, welding, and assembly of metal components as required.
• Work with steel, stainless steel, and other sheet metal materials.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with CNC laser cutting and press brake bending operations when required.
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials according to job requirements.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform deburring, grinding, polishing, and finishing of metal products.
• Handle materials carefully to minimize damage and material wastage.
• Identify fabrication defects and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in good working condition.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Coordinate with the production supervisor and other workshop team members to complete jobs on schedule.
• Ensure all fabricated products meet customer specifications and required quality standards.

• UAE workshop experience is preferred.
