Job summary

Aventusglobal in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer specializing in SRE, DevOps and AI for IT Operations to boost reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed cloud and edge systems.

You will manage Kubernetes workloads, implement IaC and GitOps, develop automation with Python/Go/Node.js, and apply AI-driven anomaly detection and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of professional experience in SRE/DevOps or related fields.
• Practical experience with distributed cloud or edge systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, k3s, Helm and Argo CD.
• Experience with Python, Go or Node.js for automation.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Understanding of AIOps, anomaly detection, and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve reliability and performance of distributed cloud and edge infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes and k3s workloads using Helm and Argo CD.
• Develop automation tools and platform engineering solutions using Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Implement observability and monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and OpenSearch.
• Apply AIOps techniques, including anomaly detection, alert correlation, and predictive incident management.
• Design and support event-driven systems using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and implement GitOps workflows.
• Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Lead incident response, conduct postmortems, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Develop self-healing systems and automated recovery processes to improve service reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and system performance.
