Job summary

EDGE is a UAE-based leading technology group, seeking a Senior Specialist to implement and enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs. The role focuses on entity-level risk assessments, reporting, and advisory to drive risk maturity across assigned entities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the identification, communication, measurement and management of Group-wide risks.
• Proactively work with Risk Champions to monitor & report risks, drive risk assessment and analysis to support informed decision making and enhance risk informed execution.
• Facilitate key risk management workshops, reviews, and assessments with key stakeholders, to identify key risk indicators and to ensure their regular monitoring.
• Prepare risk reporting tailored to different stakeholders, including reporting of top strategical risks at Group level (including committee meetings).
• Ensure that a comprehensive and continuous risk identification process is in place.
• Monitor the application and effectiveness of risk management processes.
• Conduct trend analysis and emerging risk identification.
• Provide coaching and capacity building for entity risk champions.
• Identify and assess business continuity, operational resilience, and disruption-related risks.
• Recommend appropriate mitigation and resilience measures to reduce business disruption risks.
• Support in Developing and maintain the organization’s Business Continuity Management framework, policies, standards, and procedures.

About The Role

The Senior Specialist will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs across assigned entities. They will execute entity-level risk assessments, reporting, and advisory with a focus on high-quality, tailored deliverables to drive risk maturity within assigned entities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
• Mandatory experience in both:
  • Risk Management
  • Business Continuity Management
• Experience conducting risk assessments and facilitating risk workshops.
• Experience maintaining Risk Registers and monitoring mitigation plans.
• Experience in strategic, operational, financial and project risk management.
• Understanding of business continuity planning, resilience and crisis management.
• Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
