Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for our panel manufacturing projects in Dubai. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, cost control, and documentation to meet revenue targets while guiding junior engineers.

Ideal candidate has 5–8 years in electrical projects, familiarity with IEC standards, and strong client interaction skills. The position is based on-site in Dubai with opportunities to lead cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in electrical panel manufacturing.
• Exposure to utilities and oil & gas projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects as per contracts, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Review and finalize SLDs, GA, wiring, and schematic diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Prepare material BOQs, approve BOMs, and support procurement planning.
• Monitor fabrication, busbar assembly, wiring, and testing activities.
• Coordinate FATs and address punch points.
• Track project milestones, manage scope changes, and resolve deviations.
• Maintain quality, test, and project documentation.
• Serve as single point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Facilitate dispatch readiness and invoicing through progress certification.
• Mentor and train junior project engineers.

Job Purpose

Drive successful execution of electrical panel projects to meet revenue targets through planning, coordination, cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance. Lead process improvements, project tracking, and ensure standard Industry -compliant documentation while supporting and mentoring junior engineers.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering


• 5–8 years of project management experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing


• Exposure to Utilities and Oil & Gas projects preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Core technical expertise in electrical panel design & engineering


• Familiarity with IEC / IS standards,


• Project management, planning, and cost control skills


• Strong communication, team coordination, and client interaction skills

Achieve the revenue target set by the management. It involves planning, coordination with interface/support department, setting up the departmental objective, Cash flow management, value engineering, Cost control measures and Customer management in terms of contractual compliance and scope variations tracking & claim.
Lead, guide and groom the team to achieve the departmental objective, deliverable timelines and customer satisfaction.
Develop process to achieve the cycle time reduction and project tracking tasks. Maintain and manage documentation as per the ISO guideline.
