Job summary

Abu Dhabi Health Services Company- SEHA in Abu Dhabi seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, fluency, voice, swallowing and feeding disorders and related communication problems.

You will independently manage a caseload, develop treatment plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team to support patients, families and educators. Experience in Speech-Language Pathology is required with Arabic language skills desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills in Arabic are desirable.
• NLT 2 years of experience in field of Speech and Hearing Sciences or in Speech Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing a caseload of patients with developmental speech and language delay and disorder.
• Developing and implementing specialised speech and language treatment plans for individuals and groups.
• Advising others regarding the management and care of patients with communication needs and oro-motor difficulties.
• Using standardised assessments and clinical reasoning to plan intervention.
• Delivering therapy to ensure programmes are integrated into patient learning and daily routines.
• Taking in depth case histories including medical, social, psychological and educational information.
• Liaising with internal and external agencies and involving families and educators.
• Maintaining infection control and safety standards across clinical areas.
