Job Summary

Leading hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Radiologist to join its advanced diagnostic imaging team. The role involves providing accurate and timely interpretation of a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies, supporting clinical teams in complex cases, and contributing to high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment with access to modern imaging technology and a diverse range of clinical cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and report a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations.
• Perform and interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and other imaging studies according to expertise.
• Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to support clinical decision-making.
• Perform image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where appropriately trained.
• Communicate significant and urgent findings promptly to referring physicians.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, emergency teams, oncologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
• Ensure appropriate imaging protocols and radiation safety standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinical governance and patient safety standards.
• Participate in peer review, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and research activities.
• Support the continuous development of radiology services and imaging protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.
• Recognized Specialist-level qualification in Radiology.
• Strong clinical experience in diagnostic radiology within a hospital or tertiary-care setting.
• Proficiency in relevant imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional radiography.
• Experience in one or more subspecialties such as neuroradiology, body imaging, breast imaging, musculoskeletal radiology, or emergency radiology is an advantage.
• Experience with PACS/RIS and modern digital imaging systems.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
