Job summary

TalentSpoc in Dubai is seeking an experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist to join a leading UAE healthcare facility. You will diagnose, treat, and manage eye disorders, providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to preserve vision.

The role requires postgraduate ophthalmology qualification and several years of post-specialization experience; you will perform procedures and educate patients on eye health while maintaining high standards of medical records.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS, MD, DNB, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and vision-related conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual function.
• Treat conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal disorders.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of clinical expertise.
• Manage patients with corneal disorders, eye infections, and other ocular conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide preventive eye care and educate patients on eye health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
