Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon

Position: Specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon

Location: Sharjah UAE

Licensing Requirement: Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or Eligibility/Evaluation

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat oral facial and jaw-related diseases deformities and trauma cases.
• Perform surgical procedures including corrective jaw surgery facial trauma repair cleft lip and palate surgery and removal of impacted teeth or tumors.
• Manage head neck mouth and facial injuries in emergency and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with dentists orthodontists ENT surgeons plastic surgeons and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary cases.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care counseling patients on treatment plans and recovery expectations.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays CT scans and MRIs for surgical planning.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards and hospital protocols.
• Participate in hospital accreditation quality assurance and continuous medical education activities.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/DMD/BDS or equivalent) with specialization in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Completed Residency / Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Maxillofacial Surgeon.
• Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or eligibility/evaluation.
• Strong expertise in facial trauma corrective jaw surgery and oral pathology.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural hospital environment.
