Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai is seeking a Specialist ENT (Otolaryngologist) to join a leading healthcare facility. The role requires the highest standards of clinical care for ear, nose and throat conditions, with opportunities to perform endoscopic procedures and complex head and neck surgeries.

Ideal candidates hold MBBS/MD with postgraduate ENT qualifications and board certification, plus 3–5 years of post-specialization experience. DHA eligibility in Dubai is expected for licensure.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head & Neck Surgery.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification.
• American/UK/Canadian/Australian/European or other international qualifications are desirable.
• 3–5 years post-specialization experience preferred, subject to licensing.
• Strong ENT diagnostics, endoscopic skills and medical/surgical management of ENT disorders.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and patient management skills.
• Eligible for DHA Specialist ENT license in Dubai per UAE PQR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat and related head and neck conditions.
• Evaluate and treat sinusitis, tonsillitis, allergic rhinitis, hearing loss and ear infections.
• Perform ENT procedures including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy and otoscopy.
• Conduct tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty and FESS where trained.
• Diagnose and manage voice disorders, swallowing difficulties and upper airway conditions.
• Evaluate and treat vertigo, tinnitus, balance disorders and other otologic conditions.
• Interpret audiometry, tympanometry, CT scans, MRI and endoscopic findings.
• Manage ENT emergencies including epistaxis, foreign bodies and acute airway issues.
• Develop individualized medical and surgical treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, radiologists and others.
• Ensure DHA regulations, ENT protocols, infection control and patient safety standards.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist ENT (Otolaryngologist) to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck conditions
• Evaluate and treat sinusitis, tonsillitis, allergic rhinitis, hearing loss, and ear infections
• Perform ENT procedures, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and otoscopy
• Conduct tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), where appropriately trained and credentialed
• Diagnose and manage voice disorders, swallowing difficulties, and upper airway conditions
• Evaluate and treat vertigo, tinnitus, balance disorders, and other otological conditions
• Interpret diagnostic investigations, including audiometry, tympanometry, CT scans, MRI, and endoscopic findings
• Manage ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, foreign bodies, and acute airway-related conditions
• Develop individualized medical and surgical treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary specialists
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, ENT clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head & Neck Surgery
• Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualification
• American Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirable
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirements
• Strong expertise in ENT diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, and medical or surgical management of ENT disorders
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills
• Eligible for DHA Specialist ENT / Otolaryngology classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements and clinical privileges
