About the business area

The Credit Group, within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG), oversees corporate credit risk management, including Strategic Clients and Government Banking Division, Financial Institutions Division, and Corporate and Mid-Market Banking segment of the Business Banking Group. It develops and implements systems and procedures for the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, and control of credit risk, aligning with the bank\'s overall Risk framework and Risk Appetite policy.

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include
  • Review and analyse facility structure, limits, collaterals, pricing, terms and conditions and covenants of approved credit applications and supporting documentation; carry out set up/disbursement processing to ensure operational risks are mitigated in the process.
  • Process core banking system maintenance, either as a maker or checker to ensure processing, delivery, reporting complies with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA\’s).
  • Escalate system gaps and system downtime which impacts limit and collateral management/reports to ensure that remedial technology support and solutions are obtained.
  • Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Wholesale Banking with at least 1 year in Corporate Credit administration functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization
  • Process/Systems Management related to Limit/Collateral/Exposures
  • Core Banking Systems and Applications
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
