SearchPlus HR is assisting a leading UAE healthcare organization in recruiting an experienced Specialist/Consultant Interventional Radiologist. The role covers image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across a broad range of vascular and non-vascular conditions in a modern radiology department.

The successful candidate should hold MBBS/MD or equivalent and have a recognized postgraduate Radiology qualification with interventional subspecialty training.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology with additional fellowship/subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology.
• Significant post-specialization experience in interventional radiology.
• Proven experience performing image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of image-guided interventional radiology procedures.
• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate interventional treatment plans.
• Perform vascular and non-vascular minimally invasive procedures.
• Undertake image-guided biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions, and other procedures within the physician's scope of expertise.
• Provide pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure follow-up.
• Review and interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiographic imaging.
• Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, vascular specialists, and other clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of image-guided interventional radiology procedures.
• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate interventional treatment plans.
• Perform vascular and non-vascular minimally invasive procedures.
• Undertake image-guided biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions, and other procedures within the physician's scope of expertise.
• Provide pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure follow-up.
• Review and interpret relevant CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiographic imaging.
• Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, vascular specialists, emergency physicians, and other clinical teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and procedure records.
• Follow established standards for patient safety, infection control, and clinical governance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology with additional fellowship/subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology.
• Significant post-specialization experience in interventional radiology.
• Proven experience performing image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures.
• Candidates with UK CCT / FRCR, American Board, Australian Board / FRANZCR, South African specialist qualifications, or equivalent internationally recognized credentials are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a tertiary-care hospital or advanced interventional radiology center preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
