Job summary

SearchPlus HR is recruiting an ENT specialist for a reputable UAE healthcare facility. The ideal candidate holds American Board Certification in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and has postgraduate ENT training with UAE licensing eligibility.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).
• American Board Certification in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery or equivalent.
• Postgraduate training and clinical ENT experience.
• Post-qualification experience as required by UAE licensing authority.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, subject to credential assessment and applicable Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR).
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, clinical examinations, and diagnostic assessments for patients with ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck conditions.
• Diagnose and manage ENT disorders, including hearing loss, sinusitis, tonsillitis, nasal obstruction, vertigo, voice disorders, and sleep-related breathing conditions.
• Perform ENT surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and endoscopic sinus surgery.
• Evaluate and manage chronic ear disease, nasal and sinus disorders, throat infections, and other otolaryngologic conditions.
• Assess patients with head and neck masses and coordinate investigations, biopsies, and referrals when required.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations, including audiometry, endoscopy, imaging, and other tests.
• Provide appropriate medical treatment, prescribe medications, and develop individualized management plans.
• Manage ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, airway-related concerns, foreign bodies, and acute infections.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative monitoring, and follow-up care.

We are seeking a qualified specialist or consultant in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery (ENT) holding American Board Certification or an equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualification to join a reputable healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions and provide comprehensive medical and surgical care in accordance with international clinical standards and UAE healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

Requirements

• Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in ENT.
• Post-qualification experience as required by the applicable UAE licensing authority.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, subject to credential assessment and applicable Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR).
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate, where applicable.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and patient management skills.
