Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and management for endodontic cases.
• Perform routine and complex root canal treatments and retreatments.
• Diagnose pulpal and periapical diseases and manage trauma as needed.
• Collaborate with restorative dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in case discussions and audits.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and CPD activities.
• Uphold infection control and evidence-based dental practice.

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Endodontists to join its specialist dental team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of patients requiring endodontic care.
• Perform routine and complex root canal treatments and retreatment procedures.
• Diagnose and manage pulpal and periapical diseases.
• Perform appropriate endodontic procedures for complex and challenging cases.
• Assess dental trauma and provide appropriate endodontic management.
• Evaluate clinical findings, radiographs, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Collaborate with restorative dentists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, and other dental specialists.
• Provide appropriate post-treatment follow-up and long-term patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and evidence-based dental practice.

Requirements

• Dental degree such as BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Endodontics.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong clinical experience in conventional and complex endodontic procedures.
• Experience in endodontic retreatment and management of complex cases.
