Job summary

About the Job:

Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.

Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
  • Prepare related documentations in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
  • Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and terms and conditions meet requirements.
  • Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.
  • Cordinate with Gas Operations team to monitor the daily operation of LPG and LNG vessels in the fleet related to voyage and performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector working with an international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing
Professional Certifications
  • Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (preferred).
