Job summary

Loft Orbital Solutions is seeking a Flight Software/Software Integration Engineer to help streamline onboard software creation, integration, validation, and release. You will configure standard components for customer payloads, support deployment, and troubleshoot issues across programs.

You will own tools for creation, versioning, testing and release management, collaborating with Engineering and Satellite Operations to ensure rapid, reliable on-orbit deployments and robust test coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Python and C.
• Must understand CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, TeamCity, Travis CI).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is required.
• Experience with data serialization formats (YAML, JSON).

Responsibilities

• Streamline creation, integration, validation and release of onboard software; improve test coverage and automate testing.
• Configure standard onboard software components for customer payloads; support deployment and troubleshooting.
• Own and evolve tools for onboard software creation, versioning, testing and release management.
