Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil / Structural Designer to focus on the engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects. Candidates should have 8 to 10 years of experience and strong expertise in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D). Responsibilities include developing design models, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines. Immediate availability in the UAE is required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in civil/structural design for onshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SP3D is mandatory.
• Familiar with international standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil and structural design models and drawings using SP3D.
• Interpret project specifications and produce accurate design deliverables.
• Prepare and update GA drawings and structural steel arrangements.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure design consistency.
• Assist in clash detection and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and applicable codes.
