Job description

The Sourcing Leader is responsible for managing the sourcing process for a GeoUnit, GSC Team, or Center to deliver optimal product and service costs, and a high-performance, risk-managed supply base in line with business requirements. The Sourcing Leader manages a team of Sourcing Specialists where required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create sourcing plans that reduce costs, secure supply, and minimize supply chain disruptions, aligned with Category strategies.
2. Develop action plans, timelines, and resource assignments for sourcing projects, including the assignment of projects to the Global Sourcing Centers if appropriate.
3. Manage sourcing activities within the GeoUnit to support Division GU P≻ direct spend requirements and local needs.
4. Support division GU P≻ direct spend by identifying suppliers, issuing RFQs, and engaging GSC and other stakeholders.
5. Define a high-performance supply base for locally managed commodities.
6. Lead RFI, RFQ, proposal, and bidding processes to maximize value and minimize risk.
7. Coordinate supplier evaluation and selection processes with relevant teams and document all decisions.
8. Negotiate prices and terms to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
9. Lead contracting processes in coordination with Supply Chain Contract Specialists.
10. Engage suppliers for RFx and allocate spend according to the Global Category Strategy.
11. Monitor sourcing projects to ensure timely completion and full implementation, including transaction data.
12. Engage with stakeholders across GeoUnit, Division, and Central teams to meet objectives and implement Sourcing Plans effectively.
13. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce waste of time, money, and resources.
14. Ensure compliance with Schlumberger and local procedures, including the Financial Manual and Sourcing Procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with experience in Sourcing (PnSC).
