Job summary

Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled wine steward to manage wine service and cellar operations in a luxury hotel setting in Dubai, UAE.

You will maintain the wine list, train staff, and build relationships with vendors while ensuring compliance with local laws and service standards. This role focuses on guest satisfaction and elevating the dining experience through expert pairings.

• Answer guest questions or concerns regarding origin, vintage, and style of wines.
• Update and maintain wine list and MICROS system.

• Create and update wine lists.
• Design and implement wine promotions and incentive programs.
• Monitor and replenish wine cellar inventory and related equipment.
• Train and educate server and bartender staff.
• Conduct vintage and BIN number checks.
• Perform staff wine tastings.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Follow laws for serving alcohol responsibly.
• Maintain accurate spill sheet.
