We are seeking an experienced Solutions Sales Professional – Azure is responsible for driving revenue growth across ZainTECH’s Microsoft Azure portfolio, with a primary focus on Azure Infrastructure, Migration & Modernization, Data & AI, Application Services, and Azure Security. The role engages enterprise customers to identify cloud transformation opportunities and positions Azure-native solutions that address complex business and technology challenges. The ideal candidate combines strong Azure technical knowledge with proven enterprise sales capability.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused exclusively on Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust Azure pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and Microsoft co-sell motions.
- Achieve or exceed revenue and consumption targets for Azure services.
Client Engagement
- Understand customer IT landscapes, cloud maturity, and transformation priorities.
- Position Azure solutions to support cloud adoption, cost optimization, scalability, security, and innovation.
- Act as a trusted Azure advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Cloud Leaders, and senior business stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations and close Azure-centric deals.
Azure Solution Design & Positioning
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to design Azure solutions including: Azure IaaS & PaaS, Cloud migration and modernization, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) & container platforms, Azure Data, Analytics & AI (Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric, OpenAI), and Azure Security (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra).
- Ensure solutions align with Azure Well-Architected Framework and Microsoft best practices.
Presentations & Workshops
- Deliver Azure-focused presentations, demos, and executive briefings.
- Lead discovery and Azure assessment workshops (CAF, Landing Zone, Migration Factory).
Market & Microsoft Alignment
- Stay current with Azure product updates, incentives, and Microsoft Azure programs (AMMP, Azure Innovate, ECIF).
- Work closely with Microsoft Azure sales and technical teams to drive joint opportunities.
Proposal Development
- Own Azure proposal development including scope, architecture overview, pricing models, and delivery approach.
- Ensure proposals meet customer, compliance, and ZainTECH quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Azure architects, delivery teams, and marketing for go-to-market initiatives.
- Support Azure-focused campaigns and industry use cases.
Customer Success & Handover
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to Azure delivery teams.
- Drive Azure adoption, consumption growth, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT or cloud solution sales with strong specialization in Microsoft Azure.
- Proven success selling Azure migration, modernization, and managed services.
- Strong understanding of: 1) Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security, 2) Azure migration tools and frameworks, 3) Azure Data, AI, and App Services, 40 Azure licensing and commercial models (CSP, MCA, EA)
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) – advantage.
