Job summary

CloudBees seeks a Solutions Engineer for UAE & MEA to partner with Account Executives, demonstrate CloudBees Unify, and guide prospects from first demo to technical win. You’ll own the technical side of deals, translate requirements into solutions, and speak to both engineers and executives.

Based in the Middle East and Africa, you will stay current on DevOps and AI trends, contribute to architecture discussions, and support security questionnaires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering or similar role.
• Fluent Arabic and English.
• Strong command of DevOps concepts and modern software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of the sales cycle: discovery, demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements
• Map customer DevOps workflows and toolchains, showing governance without rip-and-replace
• Translate technical requirements into practical solutions for audits and safe AI adoption
• Contribute to architecture discussions and support RFPs and security questionnaires
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering

About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at CloudBees, you'll be a trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers across the Middle East and Africa. You'll partner with Account Executives to show enterprises across the region how CloudBees Unify brings governance, visibility, and trust to software delivery - across the tools they already run - and guide them from first demo through technical win. Enterprise software delivery is changing fast. AI is writing more of the code, and the teams we serve are wrestling with how to review, secure, and validate it at scale. You'll sit at the center of those conversations: understanding each customer's toolchain, translating messy real-world delivery challenges into solutions, and making the technical case that closes the deal.

What You'll Do

• Own the technical side of the sales cycle: discovery, demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements
• Map customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains - then show how CloudBees Unify layers governance and evidence across them without rip-and-replace
• Translate technical requirements into solutions that solve real business problems, from audit readiness to safe adoption of AI-generated code
• Contribute to architecture discussions and support RFPs and security questionnaires
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering - and bring field insight back to shape the product roadmap
• Stay sharp on DevOps and AI-assisted development trends, the competitive landscape, and CloudBees product updates

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Fluent Arabic and English - you will work with customers across the region in both
• Strong command of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• The ability to make complex technical concepts land with both engineers and executives
• Comfort with the pace and ambiguity of a fast-moving company

Nice to have:

• Background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE
• Experience across MEA enterprise or public-sector accounts
• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, ADGM/DIFC requirements, change management)
• Experience selling or supporting SaaS or platform products
