Job summary

CertiK is hiring a forward-deployed Solutions Consultant to meet banks, regulators and VASPs across the UAE. You will be embedded with compliance and risk teams, lead client engagements, and shape product direction based on regulatory needs.

You will spend extended time on client sites across the GCC, document regulatory workflows, and present clear, findings-driven proposals. Travel and on-site work are integral to the role.

About the role

CertiK works with banks, regulators and regulated financial institutions that adopt digital assets. We build regulatory technology for these markets, and we are hiring a solutions consultant to be CertiK's presence with clients across the Middle East. You will meet with banks, VASPs and regulators, present our products and services, learn their problems, and lead consulting-style engagements to solve them.

This is a forward-deployed role. You work from the client's side of the table, embedded with compliance and risk teams at banks, VASPs and regulators in the UAE and neighbouring markets when an engagement calls for it, owning the relationship on the ground. What you learn there sets the direction for Product and the commercial approach.

What you'll do

• Spend extended periods on site with compliance, risk and innovation teams at banks, VASPs, custodians and regulators in the UAE and wider region
• Run discovery with clients and prospects: understand their workflows, tools, pain points and regulatory obligations, including the reason behind each request, and document them in the client's own words
• Bring findings back to Product in a form that shapes the roadmap and the sales approach
• Partner with Business Development in client meetings and regulator conversations: BD owns the commercial relationship, you own the solution and the follow-up on the ground
• Present CertiK's products and services clearly to senior client teams, and turn pain points into scoped proposals with clear deliverables and timelines
• Deliver advisory engagements, including licensing readiness reviews, gap analyses, technical due diligence, digital asset strategy assessments, workshops and reports
• Represent CertiK at industry events and regulator meetings in the region
• Coordinate with CertiK teams in the US, Europe and Asia across time zones

Requirements

• 3+ years in a client-facing role such as consulting, solutions or business development, or in a compliance, risk or regulatory role at a financial institution or VASP
• Experience working with or inside banks, VASPs or other regulated financial institutions, whether in-house or through consulting or advisory engagements; you understand how a compliance or risk function runs day to day
• Available to be based at client sites for weeks at a time, with regular travel across the GCC and occasional travel beyond it
• Knowledge of bank regulatory compliance and technology
• Professional writing and presentation skills: produces client-ready reports and presents them to senior compliance, risk and executive audiences
• Operates independently: runs a client relationship and an engagement end to end with light supervision
• Location: Dubai / UAE. Frequent on-site time with clients across the region.

Bonus points

• Knowledge of VARA, ADGM, DFSA or central bank licensing regimes
• Experience with VASP licensing, regulatory examinations or compliance remediation
• Experience with compliance, risk or surveillance software
• Big 4 or financial services consulting background
• Arabic language skills
• Existing relationships with compliance, risk or innovation leaders across GCC banks, VASPs or regulators
