Job summary

Nova Pilot, a Dubai-based technology venture, seeks an exceptionally senior architect to own complex problems end-to-end and design scalable systems. You will lead algorithm research, mentor developers, and shape engineering standards while collaborating with a founder-led team on high-impact projects.

Requirements include a Masters/PhD in CS/Math/AI, 15+ years’ experience, C#/.NET expertise, and cloud/microservices proficiency. Dubai-based with remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, algorithms, and computational theory.
• Experience with algorithm research: analyzing complexity, optimizing performance, and designing novel approaches.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET.
• Strong background in distributed systems and microservices.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi or Terraform).
• AI/ML skills: practical experience designing or integrating intelligent systems.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and mentor others.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Based in Dubai, UAE (no relocation provided).

About You
